She is a strong Hindi journalist and a broadcaster and still continues to live her dream. Her command of Hindi language will put many Indians to admiration of her passion and dedication towards culture and is part of a dedicated strong Women’s group. She enjoys cooking , music and is a communitarian .she is none other than our well know radio personality Mrs Prabha Mishra.

She has been in the radio broadcasting field from approximately last thirty five years.

Her broadcasting career started in 1981 when she produced and presented a two hour daily program mainly for women known as ‘Bahano ka Karyakram’ the “Ghar Sansaar”. It became so popular with its new structured presentation, that it captured the hearts of young and old. With her versatile presentation she worked untill 1987 and then migrated to Wellington New Zealand to join her children. As a passion for radio, she started a new Hindi program designed for Fiji listeners on Wellington Access Radio until 1992.

She then migrated to beautiful country Australia and lived in Melbourne thus again started a new Hindi program on Mondays until 2003 called “Suhana Safar” she handed this program to Manju Narayan as she left for a warmer weather and came to Brisbane in 2003 and joined Radio Brisvaani 1701 AM and is currently entertaining the well heard program ‘Jeevan ki Muskaan’ on Mondays at 11.30am to 2.30pm.

Needless to say she has travelled the world and has seen many sides of life and is a keen music lover a stage performer and enjoys cooking and spreading the ways of a upgraded happy lifestyle in another country calling it her home. 

She has been awarded a volunteer service award from Hon Kevin Rudd government in 2008.

She is married and has three daughters all living overseas.
